Kellie Martin is an American actor and actress on television and film. She is popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series "Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series "ER". Additionally, she's known as the star of her own Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin is the daughter of a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career acting at the age of seven. Her aunt who served as a nanny to actor Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". She began acting professionally when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of part-time roles in the TV and film industries. Martin has a background as an actress and a skilled dancer and photographer, has been in the industry for more than twenty years.
